Solomon Schechter Academy integrates its Judaic and General Studies program so that classes in both these areas are interspersed throughout the day. The General Studies program includes instruction in Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science, Physical Education, Computers, Music, Drama and Art. In all grades there are flexible groups based on those skills which pupils have to master. Teachers work with teaching assistants in order to give more individualized attention and assitance to their students.

There is special emphasis on teaching the French language. The objective is to motivate the children so that they will be able to 'live" in French. French is taught in the Kindergarten for 18 hours a week. In the immersion stream pupils of grades K-6 study French for approximately 14 hours per week while in the Section Francaise program, they study French 18-20 hours per week. The curriculum at the Academy surpasses significantly the requirements established by the Ministry of Education of the Province (MELS).
